Hello, I’m Isabella Littleford, a longtime style professional with a lifelong love for uncovering the magic where luxury meets everyday style.
Having spent more than ten years in fashion, I’ve had the honor of honing my craft in Paris, the capital of couture and collaborating with some of the most visionary designers in the world. Those years gave me a clear lens for spotting luxury-level detail, forward-thinking design, and pieces that last. Golden Goose sneakers have long caught my attention, a brand that seamlessly blends a vintage-inspired edge with luxury-level build quality. Here, I’ll walk you through my thoughts on different Superstar models, highlighting their aesthetics, practicality, and adaptability.
Whether you obsess over every new drop or just want a reliable fashion-forward pair, I’m here to guide you through it all with advice shaped by my industry experience. Let’s explore what makes these sneakers a standout choice!
I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also had them long enough that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.
So I’m answering a bunch of popular FAQs, as well as how to grab them for less, below! Also, if you’re interested in more try-ons and reviews, check out my Abercrombie vs. Agolde jean shorts review, Goyard tote bag breakdown, and review of my Dudley Stephens fleece!
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a solid deal going on.
Placed my order on April 28th and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.
Golden Goose sneakers typically range from $410 and $1,700, depending on how embellished they are.
They ran true golden goose sale to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.
Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in fake leather. Plus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just get comfortable fast.
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also be smart.
Scroll down for my go-to sources. I had a amazing experience with GGoose.org, so I think they’re a great option.
I found mine on sale via Cettire and bought them that way!

You can expect to pay between $410 and $1,700 depending on their level of detail.
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair. Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
They required minimal break-in time.
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong.
Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
